API 11B sucker rod for oilwell
Product Description
Description :
The sucker rod is a steel rod that used to transfer the movement and power of pumping unit to the downhole pump.
The product conforms to API Specification 11B (Oil extraction rod Standard) and other related standard, authorized to use the API monogram.
All sizes of sucker rod (standard, heavy, polish rod) which conform to API specification latest version 11B are available in grade K, C, D and HL.
Sucker Rod adopts ultra audio induction quenching technology to further process from the Grade D sucker rod. The metallographic structure is acicular martensite; the crystalline grain is fine and even. After shot- blasting, the rod has higher tensile strength (980~1200 MPa), surface hardness (HRC≥42) and surface residual compress stress (≤-200MPa). Also the rods provide with higher fatigue strength.
The unique of the ultra high strength sucker rod is that the rod has a thin compression layer 10-15% at the rod surface that remains under compression even under normal operating tensile loads.
2. Features:
1) Grade C sucker rod is made from fine carbon steel. It is featured by mid-strength, good plasticity, toughness, corrosion resistance. It is suitable for sour medium environment where it is not susceptible to sulphuric stress cracking.
2) Grade D sucker rod is made from fine alloy steel, featured by high strength, better plasticity and long service life after heat treatment. This product is suitable for no-corrosion or light-corrosion environment oil-well widely.
3) Grade HL and HY sucker rods are super-high strength sucker rod, having the same size and main parameter as grade D sucker rod, but their strength is capable to reach 966~1195Mpa. Grade HL, HY sucker rods are suitable for the deep oil-well or big-pump capacity oil-well.
4) And grade K, KD and KH sucker rod are made from fine Cr-Ni-Mo alloy steel containing different amount of Ni. They possess more powerful anti-corrosion function. The products are suitable for strong corrosion oil-well, with depth of shallow, middle and deep respectively.

Hollow Sucker rod
Hollow sucker rod is the exploitation production equipment of high viscosity, high waxy crude oil. Through the center of the rod bore, the heat carrier (hot oil, hot water, heat) is injected into wells, the cable heating chemicals or wax to achieve the viscosity solvent, thereby enhancing the oil flow, improve the "three highs" (high viscosity, high solidification, high efficiency mining waxy) crude oil. It can also be used in injecting water, removing paraffin, cleaning sand and layered oil. It has strong torque capability, which is widely used to drive the downhole screw pump.
Characteristic:
a. Increase the effective stroke of the plunger, improve pump efficiency and increase oil production.
b. Reduce the number of workover and wash well to avoid hypercoagulable, high wax plugging wells wells, dead wells and other accidents.
c. Reasonable structure, reliable sealing.
d. Mechanical performance to the level of D-level bar.
Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) Sucker Rod
FRP (fiber glass reinforced plastics) sucker rod is manufactured in accordance with API 11C and ASTM specifications. The sucker rod receives strict quality control including X-ray nondestructive test and tensile strength test.
The X-ray nondestructive test is done for every connection (fully inserting X-ray flaw detector). The fatigue test is made at regular intervals (Instron-8502 Fatigue Test Centre).
The tensile strength test is made to each sucker rod (American-made special purpose tensile tester. Patent No. US 4475404.) The quality control system is ISO 9002 certified.
The sucker rod has light weight and a long service life for it is made of special metal material, which resists corrosion and fatigue.
Polished Rod
1. Description :
Polished rods are designed for connecting sucker rod strings to beam pumping units via polished rod packing. The rods are round cross-section bars.
we provide 3 types of polished rods: normal polished rod, Polished rod-metal spray and polished rod-upset on one end.
2. Features:
1) They are all designed in accordance with API Spec 11B
2) They are all manufactured through cold-drawing, rolled threading, and surface grinding, etc.
3) It has high strength, good toughness, smooth surface and long lifetime etc.
