5. Introduction
Casing centralizers are used to help center the casing in wellbore, allowing even distribution of the cement around casing during cementing operations, more suitable for vertical well.
The positive casing centralizers are uniquely designed with flat bottom U profile of different depths permitting maximum fluid passage.

1) Used in most types of wells;
2) Most suited for horizontal and directional well designs;
3) favorable in cased hole situation.
